Milk And Honey is a collection of poetry and prose about survival.

The reason I put these red flower pieces on the book and under it is that this book is full of sadness and beauty.
This book is divided into 4 parts : The hurting, The loving, The breaking and The healing. Everyday I read a part. Each part is formed of several poems/quotes that are so touching.
This book contains a lot of relatable poems about violence, abuse, love, loss and femininity.
One of my favorites is :

you treat them like they

have a heart like yours

but not everyone can be as

soft and as tender

you don't see the person they are

you see the person 

they have the potential to be

you give and give till

they pull everything out of you 

and leave you empty

 What completed this book are the simple sketches on some poems that added an artistic touch.
This book will take you through a journey of the most bitter moments in life and finds sweetness in them because there is sweetness everywhere if you are just willing to look.
I can't wait for the second book The sun and her flowers.
