Gone Series

In the blink of an eye, everyone disappears. Gone. Except for the young.
There are teens, but not one single adult. Just as suddenly, there are no phones, no internet, no television. No way to get help. And no way to figure out what's happened.
Hunger threatens. Bullies rule. A sinister creature lurks. Animals are mutating. And the teens themselves are changing, developing new talents—unimaginable, dangerous, deadly powers—that grow stronger by the day. It's a terrifying new world. Sides are being chosen, a fight is shaping up. Townies against rich kids. Bullies against the weak. Powerful against powerless. And time is running out: On your 15th birthday, you disappear just like everyone else..

This is one of the coolest series. I loved the idea that everyone older than 14 years old disappears mysteriously and some of the left kids started getting superpowers. How cool is that?
I didn't expect to like it so much because all the characters are kids but surprisingly it was so good. I never felt that the characters are so young. They're just as strong as adults.
The most thing I liked in this series is that in 1 of the 6 books there are some chapters about the outside world which gave us a glimpse on the life of " adults ".
It's full of action. The battles were amazing and heartbreaking.
The last book was so good with a perfect conclusion. Everything got answered.
This series contains a lot of plot twists. I guess that's what makes it awesome.
One more thing. In each book there's a countdown for something. You will never guess what is it for until the last few pages of the book. This helps in fast reading every book.
Thank you Michael Grant for this amazing series.
